We have creative customers, no doubt about it! Not long ago, one of our customers called up asking about our tablecloth clips, certainly nothing out of the ordinary. Not too far into our phone call, however, the questions that they were asking made me start to think that these weren't going to be used in the traditional manner. And so, I asked. As it turned out, the customer owned a convenience store and often implemented price adjustments and sales on items in his store. I'll admit that we had sold hundreds of thousands of tablecloth clips before a customer ever told me about this use -- and when they explained it, I couldn't believe I didn't think of that years ago! She had a food table for a holiday party and wanted to "spruce it up" a bit. You know, lively it up...get more in the spirit of things. They had all of the decorations done. And then there was this table sitting there. It just didn't stand out. How do you make this table as festive as the rest of the place? String up some lights, and hold them on the table with our tablecloth clips! I bet that was the best looking table at any holiday party that year! Since then, we've actually had a few other customers use them the same exact way.
